Rain or Shine – The Show Goes On!

Event information for 2022

2023 Solvang Itinerary to be announced.

 

We kick the weekend off with Meet & Greet.  You only have to pay the $15 to enter and the cover charge is included.  If you choose not to participate in the M&G, the entry to the Museum is still  ($15 per person regardless of age).

Show T-Shirts are FREE with Pre-Registration ONLY

Your Pre-Register the Registration fee is $60 – and your 32th Annual Solvang Datsun Roadster Classic T-Shirt is part of your registration fee, NOW that’s a savings right there! (One (1) Event T-Shirt with each registration). If you do not want the Free T-Shirt the registration fee is still $60.  Extra T-Shirts are $25 each (Other merchandise will be on sale at the show as well).  Now if you miss the pre-registration deadline of April 5, 2022  You can register for the show Saturday morning at the show before 9:00 am. Late Registration is $70, and the FREE T-Shirt is not Included there is also no guarantee on correct T-Shirt size or receiving a Show Goodie Bag with late registration. If you have questions, please contact Harlan Katz Harlan@hkassociates.com or 818.495.4890.

 Banquet

Our after show Banquet is held at the Veteran’s Memorial Hall almost across the street from the show, next to Svendsgaard’s Lodge on Mission Drive.  There will be a slide presentation from the day and a much more pleasant atmosphere for our social gathering and Banquet. We are proud to present Taco Roco Catering for our Veterans Hall Banquet. Fresh Authentic Mexican cuisine will be serviced with Fruit and Salad Bar and Horchata or lemonade.  You won’t go hungry and You’re going to absolutely love it. The  Banquet is still only $25 per person

Friday – Meet & Greet

6:00PM to 9:00-ish.  Meet & Greet at The Mendenhall Museum. For you GPS users The Mendenhall Museum is located at 24 Zaca St in Buellton, CA 93427. 

You can pick up your registration packets at the Meet & Greet or register for the show if you wish. Extra T-Shirts and Raffle Tickets will be on sale as well. For more information on the Mendenhall Museum log onto http://www.mendenhallmuseum.com

Saturday – Show Day!

8:00AM – 9:30AM: Parking of the cars will begin the 2022 Datsun Roadster Classic in Solvang, California. The parking and staging area will be located on 1st Street, which borders the north side of Solvang City Park between Mission Drive and Copenhagen Drive in beautiful downtown Solvang.  PLEASE Pay attention to the Parking Authorities in the Safety Vests.  They are there for everyone’s safety and to keep parking organized as well as to help give you a great overall show experience.

To help keep parking more organized only registered cars with show display card for the windshield will be allowed to park on 1st Street (Show display cards are in your registration packet). Late comers will need to park outside barricaded area until they pick up their registration packets at the Main Show booth located near the park gazebo. (Crashers will be excused from the event!)

9:30AM – 3:00PM: The 32nd Solvang Datsun Roadster Classic Begins.  This event is open to ALL Datsun enthusiasts as the show celebrates the history and rarity of the Datsun Roadster and ALL DATSUNS. Come one, come all, bring your friends and see what makes these little cars so special. You will see frame up restorations, daily drivers, racers and “works in progress”. There is something for everyone, so do not be shy and enter any Roadster you have. You might just win a prize! Let’s see if we can get over 125 Roadsters to show up for this year’s event.

3:00PM: Announcements and Awards at Gazebo in the park behind the vendors

3:30 PM: Group Photo for Event. ALL cars will be staged into position for a group photograph. We will get a great photo to remember this year’s fantastic event! The Parking Authority will assist you into staging position.

5:30PM: 32nd Annual Solvang Datsun Roadster Classic Banquet at the Veteran’s Memorial Hall located at 1745 Mission Drive – Solvang, CA  93463. you’re not going to want miss this. You DO NOT have to purchase dinner ticket to attend, BUT you might want to since we have a NEW Catering/ Taco Roco.  You’re going to love the food.
